Born in 1976 in Verviers, she studied in different conservatoires between 1992 and 2000. She owns a superior diploma of cello from the Conservatoire of Brussels, a first prize of history of music, a diploma of capacity in education and also a first prize of chamber music from the Conservatoire of Mons.
She is a member of the group " Panta Rhei " since 1993 and also a founding member of the string quartet " Thais ". Kathy plays regularly in various orchestras, both in Wallonie and in Flanders. She is a part of a quartet with Charles Loos, Steve Houben and Igor Semenoff.
Kathy Adam has participated in numerous tours in Europe (with Panta Rhei, Jofroi), as well as worldwide including Togo,Benin (with the Choir of Lomé),Canada (Symphony Orchestra),Ukraine (concerts of Chamber Music and as soloist). She also participated in the recordings of Christian Merveille's CD's, Jofroi, Ophélie Winter, Panta Rhei, Line Adam, Bernard Tirtiaux...
